We have been given a wonderful, joy-filled son.....who has epilepsy. Caring for Life has made our journey a bit less frightening! We are not usually a family who has great financial need; still, when costly medical tests are required, it hurts. The blessing that CFL has been to our family can not be told in a mere sentence on this page. When I think of what they have done for our family it literally brings tears to my heart. Along with the blessings that they have given financially their care packages were a God send in a Mothers deepest emotional moment possible. The moments I was able to capture because of the camera and journal that was included in our specific package will forever remind us of God's love and faithfulness in our most desperate moments. I got a phone call one day from Lori McNeal and I had no idea how much that phone call would change our lives. She told me about a program that would help pay for our son's trips to the doctor and a support group that was being organized. At that time, we were going every three weeks to Pittsburgh and it was getting costly. We couldn't believe that there was an organization that not only cared that our son was sick, but that would help pay for our expenses. We were very touched by it all. When the support group started I wasn't sure I could really share my inner most feelings, but the other members make it really easy. There are truly some wonderful people in the group. When my son is going through a hard time it is these people that I need. They are such a comfort.
